A work about belonging and friendship, the Iranian ‘The Crowd’ is one of the highlights of the Queer Resistance section. Following the screening that day and a conversation with the Planeta Manas collective, Purex will exceptionally open its doors on a Tuesday, entrusting the DJ booth to marum, co-founder of the collective and former member of the festival team. The idea is to celebrate millennial angst, underground culture and queer resilience through nostalgic, soft and melancholic sounds, ranging from danceable to angsty and deceitful.
