First titles of Queer Lisboa 25 Competitions revealed

Announcing the first 40 titles that are part of the Queer Lisboa 25th anniversary special edition. Namely, the 22 short films competing for the Best Short Film Award, the 10 short films part of the Best European School Short Film Award, and the eight films that will compete in the Queer Art Section.

SHORT FILM COMPETITION:

A third of the works in this section are by filmmakers formerly shown at the Festival; all of them with radical works that reaffirm their styles. There are also two Portuguese short films, four delicatessens arriving from distant realities and three moving documentaries; besides dystopian films, or others that invite us to evade ourselves, or even to dream of potentially better universes.

COMPETIÇÃO QUEER ART:

Queer Art's mission: to expose artistic objects that fit into a practice of filmic language whose aesthetics challenge the limits of its own categorization.
